House on Palmer Road/Silat Road

The House of Palmer Road (2017) and The House on Silat Road (2018) are written by Si-Hoe S.S. and Sim Ee Waun. They tell the charming story of a young girl and her family living in Singapore in the 1940s, and through World War 2. There are 45 black and white illustrations in each book.
