The Leopard Taboo and Other Liberian Folk Tales is a series of fascinating African folk stories, painstakingly collected by Joan Mulondo, an American teacher. In her return to Liberia in 1981, armed with a new cassette recorder, a large supply of batteries and notebooks, she travelled to the rural areas of different tribes in search the enchanting folk tales.  This book is published in 2024 by her son in loving memories. It consists 15 selected Liberians Folk Tales of monkeys, spiders, leopards, snakes, a five-headed Ghena, a shrewd wife, a brave boy and many others.

There are 15 story illustrations and 3 full-spread section dividers to accompany the stories.
